Berkeley Humanoid Lite
Child-sized research humanoid with 22 printed cycloidal-gear actuators driven by drone motors, aimed at learned walking for under $5,000.
InMoov
Life-size 3D printed humanoid torso with tendon-driven hands, moved by hobby servos and Arduinos, controlled from a PC through MyRobotLab.
The short answer
InMoov costs less to start: about $1,500 against $4,300 in parts. InMoov has the shorter parts list (15 lines against 23). Both are rated advanced. Berkeley Humanoid Lite: Discontinued part: the MAD 5010 110KV motor is no longer made. The team says 140KV or higher works but runs hotter; price a substitute before ordering. InMoov: Discontinued part: the HobbyKing HK15298B finger servo is no longer made, so plan on a substitute servo. The parts total here is our estimate; the InMoov site does not publish one.
